Is sharp or platelet aluminum oxide better for Silicon wafers lapping?

We produced two kinds of aluminum oxide,one is white fused aluminum oxide,the other is white platelet aluminum oxide.

Both aluminum oxide are used for sandblasting,grinding ,lapping etc,but for Silicon wafers lapping,white platelet aluminum oxide is better.
