White corundum is made from high quality aluminum oxide,with 9.0 mohs hardness(less than silicon carbide ,but higher than brown corundum) and 99.5% Al2O3.

To produce ceramic filter plate,the producers usually use 325mesh,but for ceramic membrane,mainly use white corundum micropowder 600mesh 700mesh and 800mesh.
Ceramic glaze:During making ceramic glaze,the stability of white corundum makes it not easy to deteriorate and fall off,thereby improving the glaze quality and decorative effect of ceramic.
The size of white corundum used in ceramic glazes is 240mesh normally.
High temperature ceramics: White corundum is often used to manufacture high temperature ceramic such as refractory pipes, furnace parts and furnace linings due to its high melting point and high temperature resistance.
Electronic ceramics: White corundum is also used to produce electronic ceramic, such as dielectric ceramics and varistor ceramics, which are used to make electronic components such as capacitors and sensors.
